  18. MAKE A BACKUP COPY OF YOUR SHOWME SAVER DISKETTE!!!
  19.  
  20. This diskette contains the files for ShowMe Saver, the 'Message' screen saver.
  21. These files are not compressed or archived in any way.  If you wish to install
  22. ShowMe Saver on your system you have two options:
  23.  
  24.     Your first option is to run INSTALL.EXE.  'INSTALL' will guide you
  25.     through the steps necessary to get ShowMe Saver installed and running
  26.     on your system.  'INSTALL' can copy the correct files to the direc-
  27.     tory of your chioce, edit your AUTOEXEC.BAT file to load ShowMe Saver
  28.     automatically if you prefer, and allow you to change the default
  29.     hot-keys and the default password.  You are also given the option of
  30.     viewing the documentation from the installation program.  This is the
  31.     best option for installing ShowMe Saver.

  33.     Your second option is to create a subdirectory on your hard drive
  34.     called 'SHOW' or anything else that you prefer.  You should then copy
  35.     all of the files into the subdirectory you have created.  This
  36.     installs the program on your system.  You then can run ShowMe Saver
  37.     by making the subdirectory current and typing SHOMESAV [options]
  38.     (read the documentation for an explanation of the command line
  39.     options).  You may also manually edit your AUTOEXEC.BAT file to auto-
  40.     matically load ShowMe Saver each time you start your system.

  42. This diskette should contain the following files:

  44.     SHOMESAV.EXE - the executable file that you run to use ShowMe Saver.
  45.     REGSHOME.DOC - the form for registering ShowMe Saver.
  46.     README.DOC   - the documentation for ShowMe Saver.
  47.     SHOWCFIG.EXE - the executable file that you run to configure ShowMe
  48.                Saver's default hot-keys and password.
  49.     INSTALL.EXE  - the installation utility.
  50.     README.1ST   - the file you are reading now.
  51.     SITEREG.DOC  - the form for site registration of ShowMe Saver.

  53. If all of the above files are not on the diskette, you don't have the complete
  54. ShowMe Saver package.  Contact the source where you obtained ShowMe Saver to
  55. obtain the complete software package.  Once you have installed ShowMe Saver,
  56. it is strongly recommended that you read the documentation, especially if you
  57. intend to use the password option.
